We joined the Pack & Stack family in June of 2001. We have been in the Self Storage industry for over 15 years.

The hiring technique for Pack & Stack was a bit different than usual to say the least. We were actively looking to move back to the Dallas area to be closer to our family. On vacation, staying in a motel in Dallas we grabbed the Yellow Page telephone book, turned to the self storage section, really liked the ad Pack & Stack that started with the words WARNING - we both looked at each other and said lets call. Gene had the privilege of making the call. The first words that came out of his mouth were HELP! Help! Help - we need a job. Unknown to us at the time, it was the owner of the company at the other end of the phone. We interviewed, got hired thank God and the rest is history. Being a part of the Pack & Stack family has been the most rewarding experience for us. We are devoted to serving and care about our customers by trying to be honest, trustworthy and reliable.

Gene was born and raised in Oklahoma and Texas. Rose was born and raised in Canada - known by some as a displaced person, Canadian alien and most common referred to as a Canadian Honker - AYE!!!!

We have been blessed and have had the privilege through our careers in the entertainment and Self Storage industry of being in many towns and cities in Canada and the United States and meeting so many great and wonderful people, made many friendships that will have lasting memories for us. We can sincerely say we really enjoy what we have done and still do today along with our little helpers Muffin and Candy (our four legged little friends).

We have been managing self Storage facilities for the past 16 years and managed properties from S Florida to Missouri to Northern California.  Our most recent experience was with Assured Self Storage in Dallas.  We love Texas and really enjoy being property managers.   We plan on being here for many years.  Our best friends are all former customers  We put our customers first.  Come see us and find out what good service you can expect from us. 

Norma & Joe LedbetterPack & Stack Carrollton

We have been with Pack & Stack Self Storage since September of 2007 and are the on-site managers of the Carrollton location.

Our responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Carrollton property.  We enjoy helping our customers in every way we can.

Our career in the self-storage industry began in July, 2004.  For many years we have lived and worked in the Dallas area and we’ve been managers for several other self-storage properties in the DFW Metroplex. 

Donna & Steve DuceyPack & Stack Colleyville

We found new life with a feeling of family and kindred spirits when we joined Pack & Stack two years ago. We love belonging to a company that takes excellent care of us and allows us to take excellent care of our tenants. We began working in the storage industry shortly after our honeymoon, and we have experienced self storage from several different angles for the better part of 20 years. Steve is a former K-9 police officer with military service and a history as a plumber. Donna has enjoyed the privilege of being a housewife and midwife and a few other endeavors along the way. We have loved and enjoyed two daughters and a son, three grandsons, and a wonderful great-granddaughter.

Joel WardDirector of Operations

First and foremost, my job is one of a husband and father. When my wife and I married we each had two of the most beautiful little girls ever from our first marriage, but life was not complete until the ours came into the scene in 1996... Tyler. Lindsay, Miranda and Tyler are our ultimate source of pride and love. Nevertheless, Jennifer went back to work teaching first grade in 2001 and I forged ahead as a leader in the corporate arena.

I started with Pack & Stack in 2006 as the Director of Operations for the six Mini Storage facilities that have been in the Bright family for years. After graduating from University Of Houston with a BS degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, I spent the bulk of my career in Restaurant and Hospitality. After spending time in the Extended Stay Hotel business, I had the opportunity to join a large publicly held storage company in 2004 to develop storage facilities in the Dallas Ft Worth area. However, fate intervened - I was approached by a member of the company that I now work for, and the rest is history. I fell very fortunate and blessed to be part of the Pack & Stack community. This vocation provides a culture that is conducive to a great amount of creativity, and quality of life with family and friends... I love my life, family and career. I am so fortunate to work with such amazing and dedicated people. I look forward to many, many days ahead of strengthening a bond of friendship and professionalism in our Pack & Stack community.

Bob HowardPack & Stack Relief Manager

I started with Pack & Stack in January 2009 as a Vacation Relief Manager. That was the beginning of my experience in the self-storage business. My job is to fill in for site managers when they are away on vacation or need special time off for other business or personal matters. This schedule calls for me to work approximately 15 weeks a year, which is an ideal schedule for my current semi-retired lifestyle.

My previous career as a Management Consultant required many years of weekly travel away from my home and family. I was born in Dallas and have lived in several other states. So, after the years of being here and there, it is especially nice to have time at home to pursue my favorite pastimes of hiking and being with my family.

Thanks to Pack & Stack, I get to stay active, earn some extra money and be near home to do what I enjoy most.

Skip and Debbie CarterPack & Stack Irving

Hello our names are Skip & Debbie Carter. We are the new kids on the block, Skip & I started with Pack & Stack Aug. 2nd, 2010. We came over from U-haul in N. Richland Hills, where we were on site managers there for a while. We were the location that people would go out of their way to go to, because of our kindness and our ATTITUDE. Skip and I believe in; it is all about the ATTITUDE in all you say and do, we live by that. We want to make every person that comes through the doors or we come in contact with to feel like family, and also to know we appreciate them. We both feel that we made a very good decision by joining the Pack & Stack family. We also feel you will feel the same way when you stop by and see us. We have been married since 1979; we have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. We are all about family values. We do live on site at the Irving Pack & Stack with our 2 angels in fur coats (dogs) Fluffy & Rosco, so when you stop by you may hear them or even see them, they are very friendly, and love people as much as we do. We are both looking forward in meeting and helping you with any of your storage or moving needs.

Val and Susan DusakPack & Stack Denton

We are the on-site managers for Pack and Stack Denton location. We joined the company in January
2011. We have been in the storage industry for six years. We worked for a storage company in the
Dallas area, and got the opportunity to join the Pack and Stack family this year. We are excited about
the new venture to a smaller community and working with the great people in the area.

Val and I have been married 24 years with three children and five grandchildren. In addition, of course,
we have three furry little children still living at home.

Before entering storage management Val was involved in the auto industry, from dealership
management to owing his own car lot. Val has always had a love for cars and can tell you almost
anything you need to know about one. If you have a few minutes, just ask him. By the way Val loves to
chat! I was with an Insurance company for 27 years before getting in storage .

We look forward to meeting all of you , providing a clean, friendly and welcoming place for you to store
your items. Please stop by the office, have a piece of taffy and visit.

Randy And Linda NorrisPack & Stack Fort Worth

We have been in the storage business over 10 years and are so excited to have just recently joined the Pack & Stack family and team at their beautiful facility in Ft. Worth. We really enjoy meeting people and helping our customers with their storage needs. We know how important it is for our customers to know they made the right choice in storing with us and Pack & Stack provides them with that assurance.

We have been married for 12 years and have a blended family of 5 children and 16 grandchildren.  Before the storage business we were team truck drivers running the US mail from Dallas to New Jersey twice a week.  Before that Linda worked for the State of Texas for 25 years and Randy is a Vietnam Veteran with the Navy for 8 1/2 years of faithful service.

We look forward to this new beginning with the Pack & Stack family.
