Frequently Asked Questions

Which unit sizes do you offer?

Pack & Stack offers unit sizes ranging from 5x5 to 14x38, with various unit sizes in between.  Standard self-storage unit sizes are:  5x5;  5x10; 10x10; 10x15; 10x20; 10x25; and 10x30.  Each Pack & Stack offers the standard unit sizes.  Other than standard storage unit sizes, the various Pack & Stack locations may not offer all other non-standard sizes.

Do you offer RV and Boat parking?

Pack & Stack offers RV and Boat parking at some, but not all, facilities.  Please inquire with the facility manager.

Does Pack & Stack Self-Storage sell locks?

Each new tenant will receive a free lock upon renting a unit.  Pack & Stack also sells locks should additional locks be needed.

Who keeps the key to my storage unit?

Customers keep the key to their storage unit at all times.

Can I reserve a storage unit?

Customers may reserve storage units up to 30 days in advance.

How long are your self-storage leases?

The term of Pack & Stack Self-Storage leases are month-to-month.  Long term leases are offered, but are not required.

When may I have access to my storage unit?

Each Pack & Stack location offers access from 6am to 10pm, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

What are your office hours?

Our office hours are 9am-6pm from Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm on Saturday.  Our offices are closed on Sunday.  Our gate hours are 6am-10pm, every day.

Can friends and family have access to my storage unit?

You can grant access to others, or restrict access to yourself only.

I've lost the key to my storage unit - what should I do?

If you've lost your key or forgotten your gate code, please speak to the facility manager for assistance.

Do you require tenants to insure their stored goods?

Tenants are responsible for their stored goods.  While some facilities require tenants to purchase insurance at the time of rental, Pack & Stack does not.  We do offer third party insurance options, if you determine you need to insure the items you are storing.  It is our understanding that some homeowners and renters insurance policies can be amended to cover goods placed in a self storage facility.

Will I need identification to rent a storage unit?

Each tenant is required to have a valid form of government identification.

Do you sell packing and moving supplies?

Pack & Stack sells boxes, tape and other packing supplies at great prices.

Does Pack & Stack offer the use of moving trucks?

Each Pack & Stack Self Storage location has a moving truck for customer use upon move-in.  These trucks are for the free use of our customers when they rent a unit.  Ask the manager for details and availability.
